Amrut Fusion is an expression of the distillery in Bangalore, India, distilling from Indian barley and Scottish barley soaked in peat fire.

Palate: Plenty of sherry, citrus, cinnamon and pepper on the palate. It has a warm and strong character with slightly roasted aromas. It's pretty balanced though.

Finish: The finish is quite long, sugary, peppery and dry.

Comment: If you are prejudiced against whiskeys from countries other than the main whiskey countries such as Scotland, Ireland, Japan or America, I say you should take a look at Amrut Fusion… A well-balanced expression with very strong, rich aromas. I really like the nose, especially.
