Founded in Scotland's Lowland region in 1817, Bladnoch distillery is one of the oldest operating distillery in the country. The distillery, which changed hands many times throughout its history and remained closed for many years, was last bought by Australian entrepreneur David Prior in 2015 and started production again.

My notes from my trip to the Lowland region of Scotland from this link .

Bladnoch Vinaya (Scottish Single Malt, 46.7% abv)

Nose: Yeşil elma, elma şekeri, bal, vanilya ve beyaz karabiber notalarına çiçeksi ve otsu kokular eşlik ediyor. %46,7’lik alkol oranı rahatsız etmese de kendini gösteriyor.

Palate: Sweet aromas such as green apple, pear, vanilla are increasingly followed by warm flavors that I can call white pepper and cloves. The oak character is evident. Mouth-watering build.

Finish: The fruity flavors are palpable, albeit very weak. White pepper and oak. Medium length.

Overall: Bladnoch Vinaya is a strong malt with a gradually increasing temperature with pronounced fruity and floral notes in general. I can say that I drink Vinaya, which I get the sherry character more on the nose, more pleasantly with 1-2 drops of water.
