Cadenhead's 26 Hogshead 1991 (Scottish Single Malt, 48.9% abv)

Nose: Sweet scents such as banana, pear, vanilla and dried figs dominate. It's like a harbinger of a full and delicious palate… The alcohol level of 48.9 is also quite balanced.

Palate: Very soft and elegant on the palate. Caramel, banana and raisin flavors are accompanied by light spice. Balanced on the palate as well as on the nose.

Finish: A long finish with cinnamon and raisin flavors.

CommentI can say that I generally like this bottling of Cadenhead's. I especially liked the fruity aromas and balanced structure of the nose. The finish length is also very satisfying. I just wish it had a little more body and strength on the palate.

For sharing this special bottle in his collection Levent DulgerogluThank you very much.
