Dimple Gold Selection from the Haig distillery is produced by blending more than 30 malt and grain whiskeys. This expression blend comes from the Lowland and Speyside regions of Scotland. Glenkinchie and Linkwood malts.
The first undeniable feature of Dimple is its bottle design, which looks like a perfume bottle. This triangular bottle design, which was first introduced in 1890, was registered in 1958 and became a trademarked design.

Dimple Gold Selection (Scottish Blend, 40% abv)
Nose: A very sweet and sharp nose. Vanilla and honey are concentrated. With fruity notes such as mango, grape and peach, Dimple Golden Selection resembles a sugary perfume in harmony with the bottle design.
Palate: A bodied, oily texture. It is quite sweet on the palate as well as on the nose. Honey and brown sugar. Cinnamon, spice and black pepper make itself felt. Alcohol is a little soft on the palate.
Finish: Medium length sweet finish. Brown sugar is accompanied by very little soot and oak notes.
Comment: Dimple Gold Selection is a whiskey that I always keep at the front of my collection because of the bottle design I love. This expression of Dimple, which I find successful in terms of price/performance, is a good option for sweet and full-bodied whiskey lovers.

Dimple is a daily drinking whiskey that I've been drinking for years without getting bored and buy a new one before it's gone.
I recommend it especially for beginners. 🥃
I agree with you. 👍🏻 At the same time, the bottle looks very stylish in the whiskey bar. 🙂
Really, the first thing that attracted me was the bottle design. I think it was 2008
It is definitely the best whiskey that can be drunk especially in terms of price and performance. Aliko
It has a soft inside I enjoyed it very much
I tried it quite a while ago. 12 year old whiskey? I may not have looked very carefully, but I remember that I had not come across this information on the bottle.
It's a whiskey without a year mark, so we don't know its age exactly. My guess is that it's not too young, it's a pretty enjoyable whiskey. 👍🏻
great post.
I bought it last week.
I drink it very hard, I drink it straight, I throw a very small piece of ice! Oak and Soot is a heavy whiskey, the bottle is beautiful 🙂 Frankly, I didn't enjoy it much, I tried the price 429₺, but it's not for me. 12 year old whiskeys get a little seedy...! Respects ..
