World famous liquor giant diageo the tequila brand Don Julio in its portfolio, Lagavulin It produces a mature tequila in its barrels!

The expression, which will bear the name of Don Julio Reposado Double Cask Lagavulin Aged Edition, is kept in casks for 2 weeks at the last stage of the production process, in which Lagavulin has been matured before.

The expression, which emerged as a result of the 2-year collaboration of Enrique de Colsa, the chief distiller of the Don Julio brand, and Colin Gordon, the director of the Lagavulin distillery, is said to have very intense and sharp flavors.

Let me state that this expression by Don Julio is not the first time the brand has brought together the Tequila & Whiskey duo. The brand was in the summer last year. Buchanan's He produced another expression that was kept for 30 days in the barrels where the blend was made.

The tasting notes for Don Julio Reposado Double Cask Lagavulin Aged Edition are as follows:

Smoke agave and burnt oak scents on the nose. On the palate, rich sherry flavors accompany the aromas of caramelized agave, peat and burnt oak. In a balanced image. The finish is long-winded with lots of cinnamon.
