Glenburgie 15 (Scottish Single Malt, 40% abv)

Nose: The first time I smelled it, I said peach! It is quite fruity and sweet with peaches, apples and pears. These scents are followed by vanilla, honey and a little oak. Round, very light and well balanced.

Palate: Peach flavor is also very evident on the palate. Fruity aromas are accompanied by cinnamon and chocolate. Very easy to drink and creamy.

Finish: Cinnamon, caramel and bitters. Short length.

Comment: Glenburgie 15 is a generally sweet and soft whiskey. Fruity scents on the nose and smooth character on the palate are very pleasant.

However, I wish the flavors were a little more distinct, especially on the palate, apart from the fruity aromas. In addition, due to its very soft structure, I could not experience the “I'm drinking whiskey” feeling while drinking Glenburgie 15. Another downside is that Glenburgie has a shorter finish than you would expect from a malt whiskey.
