Glendronach 14 Virgin Oak Finish (Scottish Single Malt, 46% abv)
Nose: Oak, vanilla, banana, nutmeg and white pepper on the nose. A rich nose that evokes bourbon. Soft and full.
Palate: On the palate, aromas of banana, vanilla, apricot and pear are accompanied by spice and light ginger.
Finish: Medium length, banana, oak and black pepper.
Comment: Glendronach Virgin Oak 14 is surprisingly balanced, soft and full-bodied expression. The harmony of fruity and spicy aromas is really successful. I can say that it is a whiskey that is older than its age…
