Glenfarclas 105 is the distillery's statement that it has matured in old Sherry and Bourbon barrels and then bottled at Cask Strength. Released in 1968, Glenfarclas 105 is the first Cask Strength expression to be released by a distillery.

Glenfarclas 105 (İskoç Single Malt, %60 abv)
Nose: Kuru üzüm, kayısı, elma, incir, karamel, bal ve fındık kokuları ile şeri karakteri oldukça baskın. Meyvemsi ve tatlı. %60’lık alkol derecesi kendini hissettiriyor…
Palate: The sherry character and alcohol are also evident on the palate. Sweet aromas such as raisins, apricots and honey are accompanied by oak, spices, black pepper and tobacco. Especially black pepper and oak are quite dominant. Although it is dry and scorching, it is easier to drink than I expected.
Finish: A long finish with plenty of black pepper, sherry and burnt oak.
Overall: An expression that Cask Strength lovers will enjoy immensely. Although I prefer barrel-hard expressions dry, I liked a few drops of water very well on Glenfaclas 105.
