Jack Daniel's No. 27 Gold is the premium expression of Jack Daniel's, the world-famous Tennessee whiskey brand, presented in a gorgeous golden colored box and bottle. no. The "27" detail in the name of 27 Gold gives us a small clue about the production details of the expression.

As you know, the standard bottling of the brand is called Jack Daniel's No.7 and, like every Jack Daniel's expression, it goes through Charcoal Mellowing (charcoal softening/filtration). no. Since 27 Gold went through this process 2 times, before and after maturation, the letter "2" came to his head. Accordingly, No. 27 Gold aims to offer an extra soft and smooth.

Another feature that makes this expression different is the use of small amounts of maple barrels in addition to zero oak barrels in maturation. This detail is from Jack Daniel's No. It made 27 Gold have a bit more sweet-sugar nuances.

Jack Daniel's No. 27 Gold (Tennessee Whiskey, 40% abv)

Nose: A very sweet and aromatic nose with maple, honey, banana, caramel, brown sugar and light woody scents.

Palate: As on the nose, maple, honey, caramel and banana flavors are evident. These flavors are accompanied by intense spice and oak character. Quite soft drink.

Finish: A sweet-spicy medium finish with maple, honey, banana, oak and cinnamon.

Comment: Jack Daniel's No. 27 Gold is a very sweet, spicy on the palate, easy-drinking Tennessee expression with the distinct effects of maple barrels and double filtration.
