Traveling to Scotland, the capital of whiskey, by a luxury train, visiting different distilleries and trying special whiskeys from rare barrels… Sounds great, doesn't it?

Scotland's luxury train company Belmond Royal Scotsman and the famous tasting club The Scotch Malt Whiskey Society (SMWS) have come together to design an extremely luxurious whiskey journey that will adorn every whiskey lover's dreams. Participants of the train tour, which will start as of July 21, will be able to taste whiskey by visiting the distillery in the company of experts, as well as staying on a train with the facilities of a 5-star hotel.

Within the scope of the program, there is an unlimited drink service, along with treats such as 3 meals, cheese plate, coffee and tea, carefully prepared by the chefs every day. Did I mention there's also a spa on the train?

Tomatin, Macallan and Tullibardine were determined as the distillery. These distillery will be visited in the company of whiskey experts and tastings will be made from specially selected barrels (Single Cask). Participants in the program will also be entitled to a 1-year SMWS membership.

Everything sounds great so far, right? If you are wondering what the cost of such a tour is, let me share it right away. The quota for the October option of the 4-night program (July-August-October), which was announced with 3 date options, is already full. July and August tours start at £6,200 per passenger. Let me help you multiply by 12, about 75,000 TL. I told you it was a luxury tour…

Maybe it won't have that much luxury, but I will have some good news for you about Scotland tours in the coming days. Stay tuned, Slainte!
