The Chita Single Grain is a Single Grain whiskey produced in the Chita distillery, founded in 1972, owned by the Japanese whiskey giant Suntory brand. Let me state that the phrase “Single” mentioned here does not represent a single grain, but a single distillery.

Çoğunlukla mısır içeriğine sahip olan ekspresyon kolon tipi imbiklerde damıtıldıktan sonra şarap, şeri ve Bourbon fıçılarının kombinasyonunda olgunlaştırılıp %43 alkol derecesiyle şişeleniyor.

The Chita Single Grain (Tek Tahıl Viski, %43 abv)

Nose: At the first sniff I thought I had a young Bourbon in my glass. The scents of ash, acetone, banana and lemon are accompanied by increasing notes of vanilla and honey.

Palate: Sweet aromas such as lemon, apple, caramel, honey and citrus are accompanied by a distinctive spice character. I can say especially black pepper and ginger pressure. A little wilder than the nose.

Finish: A spicy, very slightly fruity, warm and medium length finish.

Comment: The Chita Single Grain is a slightly sweet and spicy expression with a youthful character in general, with Bourbon connotations on the nose. In terms of price / performance, I can not say that it is very successful.
