I will share with you a very easy Scottish cocktail recipe to prepare. Our cocktail is called The Godfather. It is not known when and by whom this cocktail was first made, which appeared in the 1970s. But what is known is that the creator of the cocktail was heavily inspired by the 1972 movie The Godfather. The only thing our inventor had to do was mix the Scotch and Italian liqueurs that are frequently consumed in the movie.
- 60 ml Scotch Whiskey (Usually Blended)
- 15 ml Amaretto Liqueur
- Add plenty of ice to the mixing bowl with all the ingredients.
- Mix for about 20-30 seconds.
- With the help of a strainer, separate the ice and pour your cocktail into a stylish glass.
- Decorate as you wish.
Although this cocktail is traditionally served in Tumbler type classic whiskey glasses, I prefer to drink it dry in a slightly thinner, long, elegant glass, considering the Italian origin of the cocktail. An easy to prepare, highly aromatic and powerful Scottish classic, bon appetit!
