“Is the whiskey iced or not?” It's a topic that has been debated among whiskey lovers for years. While this debate continues, many whiskey companies are very keen on using ice with their products. Some companies even encourage the use of ice in their advertisements.

One of these companies is Yamazaki, Hakushu and Hibiki Incorporating Japanese whiskey brands that have gained popularity all over the world in recent years, such as suntory.

Suntory's advertisement released in 2015 shows how a large piece of ice is processed into a three-dimensional temple with the help of a computer and served with whiskey.

As part of this advertising campaign, Suntory also organized a contest. In the competition, the participants shared their ideas of three-dimensional ice cubes, and as a result of the competition, the winners enjoyed drinking their own designed ice cubes whiskey.

Whether they prefer their whiskeys with or without ice, I am sure that it would be a pleasure for many whiskey lovers to sip their whiskey with these 3D ice cubes…
